Release Notes is a monthly summary of new features, product improvements and upcoming releases.
Staying on top of subscription costs and reconciling payments is essential for any business. That’s why we’ve made improvements to make this process easier. Now, you can see the upcoming invoice amount on the Billing → Invoice History and Settings page:
Making changes to Test Packs and User Seats could quickly generate multiple invoices. To avoid dealing with too many PDFs, we batch your changes as they happen and release an invoice after a short time delay. Nobody needs more accounting work!
Each company has a unique way of paying for the services they use. Lack of flexibility in payment options can be a real software adoption blocker and a source of accounting issues. That’s why we’re working on ways to streamline payments by offering more options and currencies.
We’ve already refreshed how we handle payments and the subscription management flow in preparation for adding new options. You can now use Apple Pay or Google Pay as your payment method (in Safari and Google Chrome, respectively):
Soon, both existing and future customers will be able to use Euro (€) as their billable currency, which might help avoid currency exchange fees and align better with the location of your business. With the addition of Euro-based plans, we’ll enable The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). With SEPA, 36 SEPA area countries can make cashless Euro payments (via credit transfer and direct debit) in a fast, safe and efficient way, just like national payments. You will be able to quickly pay for your Calibre subscription without necessarily using a credit card.
Between November 16 and 30, Calibre didn’t calculate the test allocation usage in the Billing → Overview tab correctly (the estimated test calculation was correct). On November 30, we applied a fix to adjust the test allocation count to the valid value.
Our Test Agents now use Lighthouse 9.1 We upgrade to stable Lighthouse releases as they become available and after they’re thoroughly tested so that you can leverage the newest version.
We rehashed our documentation for managing your Invoice History and Settings to show newly available options.
We will send you our latest web performance advice and notifications about new Calibre features.
