Release Notes is a monthly summary of new features, product improvements and upcoming releases.
In many ways, being successful in improving performance can’t happen without collaboration. It’s challenging to prioritise and address issues that teams, managers and leaders aren’t aware of. It will be equally tricky to move the needle on performance when it’s not apparent where your sites are currently at. Raising awareness about performance and its impact on user experience and conversions is critical to success, too.
After carefully watching teams of various sizes, shapes and priorities, we are revamping how collaboration happens in Calibre. With Teams, you will be able to organise your tracking, assign areas of work to relevant groups of people and share monitoring data in a more controlled way.
With the initial release of Teams here’s what you will be able to do:
Teams will bring overall improvements to Calibre’s interface, especially surrounding managing access to data and people within your organisation.
We already have a roadmap for extending Teams that include more fine-tuned notifications, sharing options and setting KPI metrics relevant to your goals. We expect Teams to be released within the next few months.
Our Test Agents now use the latest Lighthouse release, 6.5.0. As always, we upgrade to stable Lighthouse releases as they become available so that you can leverage the newest version.
We are already planning the upgrade to Lighthouse 7 once we fully assess its stability.
Image Actions, our GitHub Action for automatically compressing images in your Pull Requests, is now using the main branch instead of master.
To avoid breakages in the workflow, update your configuration file to mention the main branch.
We will send you our latest web performance advice and notifications about new Calibre features.
