Release Notes is a monthly summary of new features and product improvements.
Insights will allow each team member to opt-in to a weekly or monthly email digest that displays crucial performance metrics—an overall summary of your sites current performance broken down by each Test Profile in use. Combined with other ways of alerting (such as Slack notifications) it's a powerful way of spotting regressions over time.
We’ve started beta testing Insights with select customers and intend to release it for everyone in the coming weeks.
We’ve reorganised our Lighthouse audits so that suggestions are kept in four distinct categories: Opportunities, Passed, Items to manually check or Not applicable. We also tided the display of several audit items that weren’t displaying correctly.
We now deliver webhook requests with a Calibre-HMAC-SHA256-Signature header, which can be used to establish that the incoming request originates from Calibre. Learn more about webhook security.
Previously, it was only possible to set Metric Budgets by using a slider. From now on, you can directly input the desired value, which can also be outside of the range of the slider.

When conducting a lot of frequent tests under different Test Profiles, it might become challenging to read metric charts in detail. To combat that, it’s now possible to toggle Test Profiles on charts through clicking the corresponding profile label.
You can switch between reports quicker with the added ability to search for the page name. Snapshot navigation has also become more accessible with a searchable dropdown.
Our agents now use the latest Lighthouse release, 5.1.0, which means parity with Chrome Developer Tools and Lighthouse Chrome Extension.
